Our little girl turned one this month and I still can't believe it! It feels like yesterday I was holding her for the first time in my arms! I decided to do a garden party theme for her First Birthday! Ever since Maddie was a baby she would always smile and laugh whenever she saw a flower, so I thought it was fitting!

Madelyn's garden party was held at Fox Run Park in a large pavilion. I made a lot of the decorations by hand (late at night when the kids were asleep) and found the rest on etsy or small shops! I have gotten a lot of questions about where her decorations are from so I will try to link all of the shops I got them from. If I miss something feel free to message me! The cake was made by my sister-in-law's mom, Linda. She did such an amazing job! I would highly recommend her if you are in the Colorado area! The background floral garland I made by hand. I got all the supplies at Hobby Lobby (one of my favorite stores for parties!). To make the garland I bought clear wire, fake flowers, a needle and some crimp beads. I threaded each of the flowers through the wire and put a crimp bead at the end of each flower. I did a total of six strings. The "Maddie is One" sign is made by Pearl and Jane! She makes gorgeous signs! For the table the beautiful felt flower garland is from Honey Crown! The flower holder and copper garden pitcher I got at Hobby Lobby on sale.

The plates and napkins I got off of Amazon! It wasn't the first place I looked, but they have such cute supplies for parties on there! I got Madelyn's milestone poster from  MapleAM on etsy and printed off the file at my local Office Max store.

My husband is really talented in the wood-working department, so he made a potting bench out of cedar based on  Ana White's design to place all the potted favors on! I had a small table set up for the kids to decorate their potted plants with a variety of foam stickers for the craft. They loved it! There was also a bean bag toss and playground near by to run off all the sugar! For the centerpieces I used mason jars and hot glued lace bows around them and placed roses inside. The smash cake topper is by  Fancy Free Finery!  Madelyn's floral dress is by  Kinder Kouture and her flower headband is by  Kiki & Bee Handmade. She also wore a party hat from  Little Blue Olive. My mom's sweet friend wanted to make Maddie a milestone picture banner and it turned out precious. I will always treasure it! All photography is done by my dear friend  Rachel Wright! She is amazing. Here are some more pictures from the party!

Thank you for all the love and the sweet family and friends who came to celebrate with us! We are so blessed and thankful for each and everyone of you! Maddie has brought us more joy than she will ever know and has captivated our hearts! She is the funniest little girl you will ever meet with the warmest smile! She loves purses, anything fuzzy and adores her big brother! We thank God for you every day little one! Keep shining your love wherever you go sweet girl! We love you so much!
